Jammu, Apr 7: Chairman of Panthers Party Prof Bhim Singh has accused Congress-NC government for letting loose a reign of terror against the Panther Party leaders particularly in the valley. Just to terrorize the Kashmiri boys only because the youth of Kashmir is battling for justice under the leadership of Panthers Party.
Prof. Bhim Singh warned the police and civil administration Jammu and Kashmir to allow the democracy to grow or they shall face the constituencies. Prof. Bhim Singh told the media person that district president of Shopian (Kashmir) Mohd. Yousf Bhat was personally threatened by highest police officer either to quit panthers or meet disaster. He contested Assembly election from Shopian with impressive margin. His security was withdrawn. The state police has withdrawn the security of the district presidents of Kashmir only to put them under pressure to leave panthers party and joint national conference. This is what has happened that Yousaf Bhat was forced to join NC.
Prof. Bhim Singh has threatened to protest in Delhi in front of Election Commission office and the union home minister against this treachery of the state government against the Panthers party out of frustration and revenge.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that during his visit to Bani, Billawar, and Basholi areas, it was found that there is no ration available in the far-flung areas and the people are literally starving. He demanded immediate supply of ration to these areas. |
