DPS Jammu bags top positions in VVM state level exam

JAMMU, Dec 28: Students of Delhi Public School Jammu participated in prestigious Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2024 -25 State Level Exam (VVM) organized by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) on 15th Dec. 2024 held at CSIR-IIIM, Jammu. Out of total 131 students who appeared from various schools across J&K for this prestigious exam, 31 students were from DPS Jammu who bagged top 9 positions out of total 18 selections in State Level Exam i.e 50% of total selections were from DPS Jammu. It is noteworthy that VVM Exam is a national level digital based Science Talent Search Examination meant for educating and popularizing Science among school students.
The details of the winners are as follows: - Syed Hansa (VI-H) 2nd position, Paras Gupta (VII-B)-1st position, Mohd. Umair Malik (VII-F)-2nd position, Chirag Luthra (VIII-C)-1st position, Mhotsav Gandotra (VIII-J) 2nd position, Taransh Mahajan (IX-D)- 2nd position, Tarini Gupta (X-J)-2nd position, Danish Talwar (XI-A) 1st position and Manaswin Mahajan (XI-A)-3rd position.
Further, Syed Hansa Paras Gupta, Mohd. Umair Malik, Chirag Luthra, Mhotsav Gandotra, Taransh Mahajan , Tarini Gupta & Danish Talwar will now represent J&K at a National level exam to be held in May-2025. All the winners were given cash prizes, Certificates of Merit and Mementoes whereas all the participants were given Certificates of participation and Mementos.
The esteemed Management DPS Jammu, Hon'ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon'ble Director-Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji along with Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra and staff congratulated the winners, participants and their parents. They also applauded their teachers in-charge, Ms. Navneet Kaur and Dr. Paramjeet Singh, VVM Coordinators. They also extended their best wishes to them for the upcoming National Level Exam.
