NC pays rich tributes to former PM Dr Manmohan Singh

JAMMU, Dec 28: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) today paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh during a programme held at Sher-e-Kashmir Jammu.
The programme was attended by senior leaders, including Surinder Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister; Ajay Sadhotra, Additional General Secretary; Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President Jammu Province; Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Provincial Secretary; Babu Rampaul former minister and Central Zone President, senior NC leader and many party workers.
Surinder Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister, described Dr. Manmohan Singh as a leader of great vision and wisdom. He said Dr. Singh played a key role in transforming India's economy and ensuring progress for all sections of society. "Dr. Singh's calm leadership and focus on development are lessons for everyone. He was a true statesman," Choudhary said.
Ajay Sadhotra, Additional General Secretary, highlighted the achievements of former Prime Minister in making India a respected global power. He said Dr. Singh's economic reforms brought growth and opportunity to millions. "Dr. Singh's dedication to peace and development is a guiding light for us all," Sadhotra remarked.
Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President, praised Dr. Singh's leadership during tough times. He said Dr. Singh's vision and honesty helped shape modern India and strengthen the country economically. "Dr. Singh's life teaches us the importance of hard work and humility," Gupta said, encouraging party workers to follow his example.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Provincial Secretary, spoke about Dr. Singh's role in building a strong and inclusive India. He said Dr. Singh's policies brought prosperity to many and showed how a nation can grow while caring for all its entire people.
Babu Rampaul, former minister and Central Zone President, shared personal stories that showed Dr. Singh's humility and compassion. He called Dr. Singh a leader who deeply understood the needs of the common man and worked tirelessly for them.
Two minutes silence was observed in memory of Dr. Manmohan Singh.
