NDS organises Shahidi Samagam to Pay Tribute

Jammu, Dec 29: Safar-e-Shahdat: Vishesh Shahidi Samagam was organized at Gurudwara Shri Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji by Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd.) to pay homage to the supreme sacrifices of the Sahibzade of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. The solemn event was a heartfelt tribute to the unparalleled courage and devotion of the Sahibzade, who remain eternal symbols of righteousness and bravery.
The program featured the soulful recitation of Gurbani by Parvinder Singh, popularly known as “Apple,” along with his group. Ms. Kulpreet Kour’s melodious voice further enhanced the devotional aura of the event. They were accompanied by Chander Dhari Kesar on the Violin and Harpreet Singh on the Tabla, whose performances added a deep spiritual resonance to the occasion.
The gathering saw the participation of members of Nami Dogri Sanstha and prominent figures from various fields. Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President of NDS, , while Prof. Anupama Sharma, Patron of NDS, Presided over the Event and Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary, played key roles in the proceedings. Eminent singer Mrs. Jetinder Kour, Vigyan Bharti Executive Member S. Achhar Singh, and cultural activist Davinder Bakshi were among the dignitaries present.
The program served as a platform to reflect on the values upheld by the Sahibzade and to inspire the Younger Generation with their unparalleled legacy of sacrifice and devotion to humanity. The organizers emphasized the importance of remembering such historical sacrifices and ensuring their relevance in contemporary times.
Speaking at the event, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila highlighted the need to preserve and promote the teachings of the Gurus and their sacrifices, which continue to guide humanity on the path of truth and righteousness.
The Safar-e-Shahdat concluded with prayers for peace and universal harmony, leaving the attendees deeply moved and inspired. Nami Dogri Sanstha extended heartfelt thanks to all participants for making the event meaningful and successful.
The Samagam not only paid homage to the Sahibzade but also reinforced the timeless principles of bravery, faith, and selflessness, serving as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.
