Jammu witnesses literary celebration as Ashu Bansal launches Kavita Ka Safar

JAMMU, Jan 6: On Sunday, January 5, 2025, the vibrant city of Jammu became the center of a poetic celebration as Smt. Ashu Bansal launched her debut poetry collection, Kavita Ka Safar, at KC Emporia. The event, hosted by Ashu Bansal's family, including her husband, Shri Ajay Bansal, and daughters, Kyra and Dhanak Bansal, brought together literature enthusiasts, eminent dignitaries, and well-wishers for a memorable evening.
Published by The Penman Press, Kavita Ka Safar is a collection of 50 heartfelt poems that delve into themes such as relationships, nature, aspirations, childhood, and the kaleidoscope of emotions that define life's journey. The book reflects Ashu Bansal's unique voice as an emerging poetess, drawing from her life experiences to create verses that are both deeply personal and universally resonant. During the event, Ashu Bansal spoke about her journey in creating the book, sharing insights into the inspirations and reflections that shaped her poetry.
The highlight of the evening was the official unveiling of Kavita Ka Safar by Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, a dynamic statesman, a visionary leader, and a patron of arts and culture. Dr. Abdullah delivered a thoughtful speech, praising the poetess for her ability to weave emotions into powerful poetry. His presence, along with other notable dignitaries, added grace to the occasion. Guests of Honour included Sanjay Aggarwal, Managing Director Jammu Motors (P) Ltd and Chairperson of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association Jammu; Dr. Sanjay Bansal, National President of the Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) and Member of the National Traders Welfare Board, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India; and Shri Bharat Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC House of Realty.
The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, creating an inviting and auspicious start to the evening. Ashu Bansal's heartfelt address was followed by an inspiring and thoughtful speech by the Chief Guest, which resonated deeply with the audience. Thereafter, attendees had the opportunity to interact with the poetess and dignitaries, fostering engaging conversations in a celebratory atmosphere. The event was eloquently anchored by Ms. Sheeba Kant, a renowned voiceover artist, who charmed the audience with her impeccable hosting.
