1/6/2025 9:55:45 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 6: Ranvijay Singh, the Great Grandson of Maharaja Hari Singh ji, lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the historic inauguration of the new Jammu Railway Division, calling it a game-changer in the development and integration of Jammu and Kashmir into the national framework.
In a press statement issued here today, Ranvijay Singh emphasized that the inauguration of the Jammu Railway Division reflects PM Modi’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India), where every region experiences equitable growth and connectivity. “This milestone is not just about infrastructure; it’s about empowerment, inclusivity, and unprecedented opportunities for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The world’s highest railway bridge over the Chenab River and the engineering marvel of Anji Khad Bridge symbolize the aspirations of a modern India,” he said.
Highlighting the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) as a beacon of progress, Ranvijay Singh noted how the Prime Minister’s commitment to ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ has materialized through such transformative projects.
“The USBRL not only connects people but also bridges hearts. This development is set to revolutionize trade, tourism, and employment in J&K, while extending benefits to Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Ladakh,” he added.
Ranvijay Singh praised PM Modi’s decade-long efforts in modernizing Indian Railways, citing achievements such as 30,000 kilometers of railway electrification and the operational success of over 50 Vande Bharat trains. “PM Modi’s vision has made the Indian Railways a global leader. The Jammu Railway Division will serve as a catalyst for socio-economic transformation, empowering lakhs of youths with jobs and creating opportunities for education and business,” he stated.
Ranvijay Singh also acknowledged the broader impact of rail infrastructure projects in fostering regional connectivity and boosting tourism. He highlighted the Central Government’s focus on futuristic initiatives like bullet trains and metro expansions, underscoring that these developments are paving the way for a truly developed Bharat.
He extended his gratitude to the Prime Minister for prioritizing J&K’s development. “Under PM Modi’s leadership, J&K is not just witnessing development but is becoming a key contributor to the nation’s growth story,” he added.
