Bhim campaigns in Doda areas

Doda, Apr 8- Election campaign of Prof. Bhim Singh contesting from Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency today was disrupted by the turbulent weather. Accompanied by Harsh Dev Singh, leader of the Panthers Legislature Party and Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC and General Secretary in a helicopter, Prof Singh appreciated the Wing Commander of the Helicopter, Anil Kishore for successfully negotiating the return cycle to get out of the turbulence. The helicopter made two unsuccessful attempts to cross over to Goha (Marmat), Gandon, Padar, Michhel, Marwa, Chhatru, Desa, Rajgarh, Neel Top. However, the JKNPP leaders could not land due to the hostile weather.
Hundreds of Panthers Party workers had gathered at the respective places to receive the Party leaders but the weather played foul. Choudhary Mohammed Iqbal, Provincial General Secretary, Divender Singh, Imtiaz Ahmed, Party leaders of Bhaderwah and Inderwal constituencies addressed mammoth rallies in support of Prof. Bhim Singh. Farooq Ahmed Dar, District President, Doda addressed hundreds of people in Marmat and hoped that the people shall appreciate the situation caused by hostile weather. Similarly, Anil Parihar, District President, Kishtwar and other Party leaders addressed rally in Padar where 5000 people waited for several hours under the rain and storm.
Hundreds of people waited for Prof. Bhim Singh and his colleagues in Marwa, one of the most backward areas in the state and also at Desa and Rajgarh where they were addressed by the local leaders namely, Suraj Parihar, District General Secretary, Ramban, Neelam Langeh, District Vice President, Amarjeet Singh, District Secretary and others. In Neel Top hundreds of farmers had gathered with flowers and bouquets to receive their leaders.
A message of Prof. Bhim Singh was read at all stations which said, "The world is my country, and India is my home, Humanity is my religion, Equality and fraternity is my faith, Justice and Equity is my goal, and rebellion is my way, Truth is my strength, Peace is my lasting passion, This is the road of my destiny, I am identified with.", the message added.
