GDCT releases its annual calendar 2025

Jammu, Jan 12: Annual Calendar of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust was released today on 12th January 2025 by the Patron-in-Chief of the Trust, Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary in a simple but impressive function organized by the Trust in the conference hall of GDCT under the Chairmanship of its Chairman, Haji Arshad Ali Choudhary. General Secretary Er. M. Sadiq Azad warmly welcomed all the participants on the occasion & briefed the House about the aims, objectives, purpose and importance of the Calendar for highlighting different activities, developmental works & achievements during the previous year 2024 and focusing on new initiatives and future endeavors.
Patron-in-Chief Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary while releasing the Calendar, offered special prayers for overall peace & prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and also for the prosperity of GDCT & Gujjar Community in particular while congratulating the Chairman GDCT and his team for the remarkable achievement during the period in taking forward mission of Baba-e-Qoum late Dr. Masud Choudhary. He also gave valuable suggestions & ideas to improve the functioning of GDCT & its allied functionaries including K.B. Public School, Dr. Masud Choudhary Tribal Museum, Begum Akbar Jahan Research Library, Babu Faiz Ahmed Study Centre etc. Various other important issues concerning Gujjar Community were also discussed on the occasion. Rich tributes were paid to founder GDCT Baba-e-Qoum Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary while recalling his efforts and contributions for the upliftment of Gujjar-Bakerwal tribal Community in the field of education, culture & heritage & for establishment of GDCT.
Prominent Senior Trustees who were present on the occasion included Ch. Haroon Rashid Khatana, Ch. Aslam Khan Advocate, Ch. Bashir Ahmed Noon, Ch. Shouket Javed, Ch. Bashir Ahmed Khatana, Ch. Mohammad Aslam Gheghi, Er. Ghulam Rasool, Ch. Shakeel Ahmed, Haji Amjad Ali & Ch. Mohmmad Yousuf Khepar. In his concluding remarks, Patron-in Chief Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary thanked all the Trustees for their interest, participation, co-operation & assured them that their suggestions & ideas are well taken & shall be implemented on ground.
