Srinagar, Jan 12: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the opening of the Z-Morh Tunnel, which is set to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
In his statement, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “The Z-Morh Tunnel, a 6.5 km long, 2-lane tunnel between Gagangair and Sonamarg, is an important piece of infrastructure that will ensure all-weather connectivity to the tourist destination of Sonamarg, boosting trade and tourism activities in the area.”
He said, “Better road connectivity and infrastructure development always lead to the growth and prosperity of the concerned regions. The Z-Morh Tunnel will provide all-weather connectivity between Srinagar and Sonamarg, giving a major boost to tourism by transforming Sonamarg into a year-round destination.”
Greeting people on the opening of the tunnel, Apni Party President said, “The opening of the tunnel marks a milestone in Jammu and Kashmir’s development journey—a moment of pride and celebration for all. Congratulations to everyone on this remarkable achievement.”
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari further said that
“The opening of the Z-Morh Tunnel and the upcoming Zojila Tunnel will ensure uninterrupted access and reduce the distance between the valley and Ladakh, which will further boost trade and tourism in the entire region.”
