JAMMU,Jan12: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today paid heartfelt tributes to the immortal thoughts and wisdom of Swami Vivekananda, recognizing their timeless relevance in shaping India’s future. He stressed that the teachings of the revered spiritual leader have left an indelible mark on the nation’s ethos and continue to inspire millions across generations.
Kavinder made these remarks while addressing a gathering during the celebration of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, observed as National Youth Day, organized by the BJP Yuva Morcha at the Party headquarters in Jammu. The event, which saw enthusiastic participation from the youth, was aimed at honoring the life and contributions of Swami Vivekananda.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder highlighted that the ideals espoused by Swami Vivekananda are not bound by time but remain relevant across generations.
His teachings, rooted in spirituality, self-discipline, and service to the nation, resonate with the essence of India’s rich cultural heritage. He emphasized that these principles, when embraced in our daily lives, can foster greater unity, tolerance, and progress in society.
As India observes National Youth Day on Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, Kavinder urged the youth to draw inspiration from his teachings and dedicate themselves to the service of the nation. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of the young generation to contribute to building a self-reliant, prosperous, and culturally rich India.
The senior BJP leader further praised the efforts of the Narendra Modi government in promoting Swami Vivekananda’s values through a variety of educational initiatives, cultural programs, and events.
He highlighted how these initiatives encourage the youth to connect with their roots, understand their history, and uphold the nation’s glorious heritage.
