Lila Karan maps villages, spews fire against NC, Congress

Jammu, Apr 9: Lila Karan Sharma, BJP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary seat today accused Congress and NC leaders of misleading the people by making false accusations against him.
Addressing series of election rallies at Kaleeth, Dhanger, Kharah, Sehar, Dager, Balli, Jagwan, Mana, Kalah, Thanger, Chaprial, Panjtoot, Pallanwala, Kotmera, Jangiwala, Panyali, Naraiana, Khour, Nikkian, Budhal, Gigrial, Daian,Rama, Dehrian, Garar, Sainth, Hamirpur, Pangli, Bhapur, Datyal, Matoo, Rakh Malal, Agla Mala, Danwal, Taroti, Ghari, Dhanuchak, Bakore, Manchak, Badan and Jourian, the BJP candidate said that those accusing him have no agenda to lure the electorate. He said while the Congress ruled for most of the period at the centre, the NC did same in the state and asked as to what these parties have done for the common masses is clear from the fact that the leaders of these parties have constructed palatial bungalows and own fleets of luxurious vehicles. The rural areas are the most affected, he said and maintained that even after over 60 years of independence most of the villages lack adequate health care facilities, road connectivity and proper infrastructure in government schools
Lila Karan said that very high claims are made of bringing record funds into the state from centre for development and welfare of the people but where these funds are utilized is not known to common people. The employees do not get salaries for months, highly educated youth are sitting on hunger strikes ,terrorist related activities are going up, price rise is all time high. The schemes launched by the previous BJP-led NDA have been stalled or their speed of work is very low. Benefits of the welfare schemes for poor and SCs do not reach the really deserving people.
He urged the people to remember the past role of the Congress and NC and reject them as these parties are responsible for miseries of the masses.
The meetings were also addressed by State Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, SC Morcha Vice-President Chaman Lal Kanathia, District President Col. Uttam Singh, District Vice-President Mangal Singh, Pt. Mela Ram, Narayan Sharma, Swarn Singh, Tej Ram Sharma, Sukhdev Singh,Rattan Choudhary, Bodh Raj Bhagat and Capt. Ranjit.
Meanwhile, BJP State President Ashok Khajuria and party MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma addressed public meetings at Shibba, Panjgarain, Gundla and Bamyal in Nagrota constituency and appealed the people to vote in favour of BJP candidate Lila Karan Sharma in the coming Parliament elections.
