NSS Unit of GDC Samba celebrates National Youth Day

JAMMU, Jan 14: The NSS Unit of SPPND Govt. Degree College, Samba organised innovative Stone Painting activity to mark National Youth Day The activity was held under the Patronage of Worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri to honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand.The event aimed to promote creativity and inspire students to embody the values of Swami Vivekananda, including self-reliance, unity, and service to society. Enthusiastic students painted stones with motivational quotes, cultural symbols, and vibrant designs reflecting the ideals of youth empowerment. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, appreciated the initiative, emphasizing the importance of engaging the youth in creative and meaningful endeavors. She further encouraged students to follow Swami Vivekananda's teachings and channel their energy toward building a better society. The celebration concluded with a display of the painted stones, symbolizing the strength and resilience of the youth, aligning with the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. A total f 30 Volunteers participated in the event. The whole event was organized by NSS PO Prof. Kamlesh Bala.
