Vishwa Yog Sansthan celebrates Makar Sankranti with Yoga and Cultural Festivities

JAMMU, Jan 14: Vishwa Yog Sansthan marked the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti with a serene morning gathering, blending spirituality and culture. The celebration was led by Yog Guru Karan Ji, who emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life for better health and well-being. He urged everyone to make yoga a routine for a healthier lifestyle.
Sh. Bansi Lal Gupta Ji addressed the gathering, reiterating the timeless saying "health is wealth," while Sh. Sham Bassan Ji, an ex-corporator, spoke on the cultural significance of Makar Sankranti in India.
During the event, members lit a bonfire to stay warm in the chilly weather and participated in the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa, creating a spiritually uplifting environment. The festivities concluded with the distribution of traditional Kichdi Prasad, peanuts, and rewari, celebrating Dogra culture.
The event was attended by various members, including Sh. Suresh Sharma Ji, Ch. Balkar Ji, Sh. Rakesh Sawhney Ji, Sh. Sham Lal Kalsi Ji, Sh. Rakesh Padha Ji, Sh. Ashwani Kumar, Sh.
