ADGP MK Sinha graces closing ceremony of Special Operations Group training program

JAMMU, Jan 15: The closing ceremony of the four-week-long Special Operations Group (SOG) training program was held at the Commando Training Centre, Sunjwan, with Shri Manish Sinha, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (HQ & Coordination), as the chief guest. The event marked the culmination of an intensive training initiative organized by the Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu.
The training program aimed to enhance the operational efficiency of the police force, focusing on advanced counter-terrorism techniques, public safety, physical fitness, combat strategies, and mental resilience. The program also emphasized discipline and the ability to handle critical situations effectively.
In his address, ADGP M.K. Sinha commended the trainees for their dedication and resilience throughout the course. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the police force to tackle complex operational challenges. He also appreciated the efforts of the organizers, instructors, and trainees in making the program a success.
During the ceremony, ADGP Sinha and ADGP Jammu presented awards for excellence, including the best in firing and endurance, both for individuals and districts.
Shri Abrar Chowdhary, Principal of the Commando Training Center, gave a vote of thanks. The ceremony was also attended by Smt. Sarah Rizvi, IPS, DIG Trainings PHQ J&K, Dr. Surinder Choudhary, Dy. CO IRP 14 Bn, other senior officers, instructors, and trainees.
