JAMMU, Jan 17 : Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) has reiterated its unwavering commitment to addressing the concerns of the youth and ensuring their empowerment.
This was stated by Ajay Sadhotra, senior NC leader and former Minister, during a meeting with newly joined youth at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan in Jammu.
Sadhotra highlighted the increasing unemployment rates in the region and underscored the need for a robust policy framework to generate job opportunities for the youth.
He said, “The National Conference government, led by Omar Abdullah, remains committed to creating employment avenues and ensuring sustainable development for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.”

He said, “During the past decade, the youth of our region faced immense challenges, and funds meant for their welfare were not utilized effectively. The NC is committed to ensuring that these resources reach those who need them the most.”
He further criticized the past governance for its failure to utilize funds from central-sponsored schemes, which led to their lapsing in the previous years.
Youth were deprived of crucial government schemes and opportunities. Under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, the NC government is determined to reverse this trend and bring tangible benefits to our youth,” Gupta emphasized
