RAMNAGAR, Jan 18: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar, under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, organized an insightful Orientation Programme on the theme "What After Graduation?" The event, held in collaboration with CT University, Punjab, was spearheaded by the Career Counseling Cell and IQAC to guide students on academic and career pathways post-graduation. The session featured Prof. Deepak Chalotra, Assistant Professor and Manager in the Civil Engineering Department at CT University, as the resource person. Dr. Puyesh Kant Sharma (HOD Political Science) commenced the program with a welcome address, highlighting its objectives and introducing the esteemed guest. Prof. Chalotra provided detailed insights into entrance exams, academic courses, facilities at CT University, and placement opportunities, equipping students with practical knowledge to plan their futures.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal commended the organizers for their initiative, emphasizing the significance of career planning and skill development. He stated, "Such programs are crucial for guiding students and exposing them to opportunities that can shape their future."
Dr. Pankaj Sharma, HOD English and Convenor of the Career Counseling Cell, extended the formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors for the event's success. The program was organized by the dedicated efforts of the Career Counseling Cell and IQAC, including Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Pandit (IQAC Coordinator), Prof. Anice Ahmed, Prof. Sanjay Malhotra (HOD Commerce), and Prof. Tanmeet Kour. Esteemed faculty members like Prof. Manmohan, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Jeevan Kumar, and Prof. Pankaj Dabgotra also graced the event.
