HPS Students Shine at 19th National Matsogi-Do Championship

JAMMU, Jan 18: Students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, brought glory to their school by excelling in the 19th National Matsogi-Do Championship 2024-25, held recently at Punjab University, Chandigarh. The championship witnessed outstanding performances from 13 students of the school, 10 of whom clinched medals, including 4 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze.
The Gold medalists were Pranav Rajput (Class 10), Paras Verma (Class 8), Udhay Dev (Class 8), and Aakriti Charak (Class 5), with Aakriti winning two Gold medals and a cash prize of ?3000 each. The Silver medalists were Jatin Bhagat (Class 10), Sayam Charak (Class 8), and Sameer (Class 8), who received ?1500 each. Bronze medals were secured by Muzzamil (Class 10) and Manvika (Class 8).
The students were mentored by their school coach, Mr. Bhanu Partap Singh, who provided dedicated guidance throughout the competition.
In recognition of their achievements, the Principal, Mr. Gaurav Charak, and the Vice-Principal, Mrs. Anku Charak, felicitated the medal winners during a special assembly. They expressed immense pride in the students' accomplishments and congratulated Sports Incharge Mr. Mahan Singh and coach Mr. Bhanu Partap Singh for their pivotal role in the students' success.
This achievement has further cemented Humanity Public School's reputation for excellence in academics and sports, inspiring students to strive for greater heights in the future.
