Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust delegation meets J&K Chief Minister

JAMMU, Jan 18: A delegation from the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust, led by Patron-in-Chief Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary and accompanied by Chairman Arshad Ali Choudhary and General Secretary Er. Mohammad Sadiq Azad, met Hon'ble Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir (UT), Jb. Omar Abdullah. The delegation congratulated the Chief Minister on his party's remarkable victory in the 2024 Assembly Elections and his assumption of office.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed key issues related to the Gurjar-Bakerwal community and presented updates on the Trust's ongoing projects and future initiatives aimed at socio-economic, educational, and cultural upliftment. They also highlighted challenges faced by the community.
The Chief Minister assured the delegation of his full support for the development and welfare of marginalized communities, including Gujjars and Bakerwals. He lauded the Trust's efforts under the leadership of Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary in advancing the cause of the Gujjar community.
The delegation extended an invitation to the Chief Minister to visit Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust to interact with trustees and students, aiming to inspire and guide the community.
The delegation expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister's commitment to fostering peace, prosperity, and development in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly for underprivileged communities.
