Ramban, Jan 18: In line with the directions of the Worthy Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, and under the guidance of the Worthy Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu, Dr. Arun Manhas, an awareness camp was organized today by the General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Ramban.
The event, held at the office of the Block Development Officer, Batote, aimed to create awareness among unemployed youth about the benefits and incentives available under the PM Vishwakarma scheme and other departmental initiatives in the manufacturing and service sectors.
The program specifically focused on encouraging youth from Batote and adjoining areas to take full advantage of these schemes, including guidance on filing applications through online modes. The initiative seeks to empower unemployed individuals by providing them with the necessary information and tools to access government support for entrepreneurial activities.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by the Project Manager, DIC Ramban, who expressed gratitude to the staff members of the Rural Development Department and the general public for their active participation and valuable presence in the camp.
This awareness camp is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to support self-employment and economic development in the region.
