| Baba Jitto Club wins by 5 wkts | | 3rd Tickoo-Drabu Cricket Tournament | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 09: Beating a registered club of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Srinagar Cricket Club (SCC) by five wickets, Baba Jitto Cricket Club (BJCC) today moved into the pre-quarterfinals of ongoing 3rd Tickoo-Drabu Memorial Cricket Tournament at MA Stadium, here. Batting first after winning the toss, SCC set a target of 112 runs for the loss of six wickets in allotted 30 overs, which, in reply, BJCC chased the total in 24 overs with five wickets in hand. Dev Raj Sharma was maximum scorer with 49 runs while Kamal Zadoo contributed 22. Dushyant Koul and Provin Bhat added 14 and 12 funs respectively. From BJCC, Rajesh Kumar and Vishal Sharma took two wickets each while Sanjay Koul bagged one. Later, BJCC chased the target rather easily making 112 runs for the loss of five wickets sparing six overs of their innings. Deepak Pathania played fine innings of 29 runs, followed by Pritam Singh, who contributed 27 runs with the help of three boundaries and a six. Sahil Sharma added 24 runs. Mintoo and Raju Dhar shared two wickets each from SCC. Rohit Ambardar clinched one wicket. Today’s match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain and Sanjay Raina while Vijay Raina was scorer.
