Discrediting 'Father of Constitution', Cong lost right to speak for Baba Sahib: Kavinder
1/19/2025 10:39:45 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 19: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta asserted that he can give numerous instances when the Congress party dishonoured the Indian Constitution and wrongly interpreted it for petty political gains.
He was speaking while addressing a meeting at Jammu West here today in which MLA Arvind Gupta, Arun Prabhat J&K BJYM President and others were present.
The BJP stalwart said that Congress is accused of discrediting the Baba Sahib Ambedkar, who is known as the father of the Indian Constitution, for his remarkable contribution to the nation of gifting the precious book of laws and rules, which was being implemented to govern India flawlessly.
He said that Congress, which is today posing as the bigger supporter of B R Ambedkar has disrespected him on various occasions thus losing the right to speak in favour of this one of the outstanding legal luminaries of the country. He said that Congress has been misquoting HM Amit Shah over his remark on Baba Sahib, which is nothing but another failed gimmick of the oldest political party of the country. He said that by wrongly interpreting the Constitution of India on several occasions, this party has lost the right to speak for it long back.
He said that the so-called Padyatra for the Constitution is the last attempt by the leadership to stop this party's ship from sinking as the hole of corruption practiced by this political outfit since decades has become real big and the leadership knows it well that their vessel is about to perish.
The senior BJP functionary asked the people not to fall prey to the political dramas being staged by the Congress leadership as it wanted to con the people once again to defraud them for satiating their long awaited vested interests as the party is out of power for over a decade now.
