Arvind discusses development, infrastructure issues of Ward 32 with JMC Commissioner

JAMMU, Jan 19: In a move aimed at addressing key infrastructure challenges in the Jammu West Constituency, Arvind Gupta, MLA Jammu West, today held a significant meeting with Devansh Yadav, Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), along with senior officials from the JMC. The meeting which was convened to discuss the ongoing issues in the region, focused particularly on Ward No. 32.
The meeting highlighted a proposal to secure funding under the Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) for an amount of Rs 2000.00 lakhs. This funding is seen as crucial for addressing the pressing infrastructure requirements, enhancing civic amenities, and ensuring the overall development of Ward No. 32.
Arvind Gupta, during the meeting, emphasized the importance of timely infrastructure development to improve the quality of life for residents in the constituency. "This funding will be pivotal in addressing the long-standing issues and ensuring that the residents of Ward No. 32 benefit from modern and sustainable infrastructure. We are committed to delivering on our promises and ensuring that every corner of Jammu West sees the development it deserves," he stated.
Devansh Yadav, Commissioner of JMC, assured that the proposal will be thoroughly reviewed and processed to ensure the allocation of funds for the timely execution of various developmental projects. He further stressed the importance of united efforts between the JMC and local representatives will effectively address the concerns of residents.
The funding under UIDF will be utilized for a range of critical projects aimed at improving public services, including road repairs, drainage systems, sanitation facilities, and the installation of modern amenities to cater to the growing needs of the constituency.
Arvind Gupta reaffirmed his commitment to continuously working with the JMC to resolve the concerns of the people of Jammu West, ensuring a cleaner, better-connected, and more vibrant community.
