DPS Udhampur bids farewell to XII class of 2024

UDHAMPUR, Jan 20: Delhi Public School Udhampur bid a fond farewell to the outgoing class XIIth batch of 2024-2025 with great enthusiasm. The theme for the farewell was Bollywood vibes The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to remorse joyous moments. The Tilak ceremony of class xii students marked the beginning of the function.
The program in the beautiful and well decorated campus commenced with the welcome address by class xi students. The highlights of the functions were the beautiful cultural presentation. The students of class XI put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, melodious songs, interesting games and pulsating music that rocked the whole place. The students of class XIIth put the stage on fire during ramp walk.
The crown of Mr DPS Udhampur was won by Mr. Sumit Rasaniya and Miss DPS Udhampur was Ms. Sneha Sharma. The runner up was Mr Kanav & Ms Fatima Shah . The title of Miss evening was bagged by Ms.Vanishka Mathur and Mr evening was Mr. Tanmay Sharma whereas the title of Mr. Charming was won by Mr. Sameer Rathore and Ms. Charming was Ms. Anaadya Sharma.
Honorable Pro-Vice Chairman of the school Dr.J.C.Gupta applauded the batch as one of the brightest ones. He appreciated their contribution towards school and raising the bar of perfection. He wished them to make a mark in the world outside, carrying forth the school motto 'Service before Self'
Dr. Kunal Anand, Principal DPS Udhampur quoted to the kids that "Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of values". He also advised all the students of class XII to always wish their teachers and keep in touch with them.
Dignitaries present on the evening were Hon'ble Pro Vice Chairman of the School Dr. J. C. Gupta MD of the School Mr. Vivek Gupta, Dynamic Director Academics, Ms. Sucheta Gupta mam.
Head Mistress Sr wing Ms. Bhanvi Sharma & HM Jr Winf Ms. Shivane Koul mam along with Chief Coordinators , Ms. Sangeeta Nargotra and Ms. Rakhi Gupta Chief CCA Coordinator of DPSU and staff wished the students ' BEST OF LUCK' for their future. After the program everyone assembled for dance dhamaka. The beautiful day ended with both happiness and sorrow.
