Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 20: A significant event was held in Jammu North Constituency's Mandal Raipur-Doman as part of the nationwide Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan (Constitution Pride Campaign), organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The event, led by Mandal President Shri Rohit Verma Ji, was attended by a large gathering of party workers and prominent dignitaries.
The program was graced by the presence of MLA Jammu North, Shri Sham Lal Sharma, Sanjoyak Shri Ajay Manhas, and other distinguished leaders. The occasion was dedicated to remembering the life and contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Sham Lal Sharma emphasized Dr. Ambedkar's pivotal role in framing the Constitution and his vision for a just and equitable society. "Dr. Ambedkar envisioned a nation based on the principles of equality, justice, and democracy. His contributions continue to inspire us as we work to uphold his legacy by promoting unity and inclusivity," he said.
Shri Sharma highlighted that the Constitution not only reflects the values of India's rich civilization but also embodies modern democratic principles. He urged the youth to understand the significance of the Constitution and the sacrifices made by leaders like Dr. Ambedkar in shaping the country's democratic fabric.
Sanjoyak Shri Ajay Manhas also spoke on the occasion, stressing Dr. Ambedkar's teachings that continue to guide India's development. He emphasized the BJP's commitment to implementing these principles at every level of governance. "The Samvidhan Parv is a reminder of our duty to uphold the sanctity of the Constitution and ensure equal rights and opportunities for every citizen," he said.
Other dignitaries present at the event included Rtd. Prof. OP Sharma, Shri Sanjay Bhat, Smt. Rekha Manhas, and Smt. Neelam Virdhi, who expressed their dedication to Dr. Ambedkar's vision of a united and inclusive India.
Shri Sharma also took the opportunity to criticize the Congress Party for its divisive politics. He stated, "Congress has failed to nurture the true essence of democracy as envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar. It is under the leadership of the BJP that we see the realization of his vision of a united and strong India."
The event concluded with a call to action, urging all citizens to spread awareness about the values enshrined in the Constitution and work towards building a stronger, more inclusive nation. Prominent attendees, including Janipur Mandal President Shri Sahil Gupta, Muthi-Paloura Mandal President Shri Pankaj Pada, and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan State Coordinator Shri Dil Bahadur Singh, reaffirmed their commitment to Dr. Ambedkar's ideals.
The event underscored the importance of Dr. Ambedkar's contributions to the nation's growth and the continued need to protect the values of equality, justice, and democracy in modern India.
