| CM reviews security | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, April 09: Ahead of parliamentary elections, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday reviewed security situation in Jammu and Kashmir here with particular reference to the ongoing infiltration bids along the Line of Control in North Kashmir Kupwara and Bandipora districts. The Chief Minister was briefed by the officers from state administration, police, central and state intelligence agencies on the prevailing situation in the state at a top level meeting held here, official sources said. They said the security concerns in the valley including the recent infiltration bids along the line of control in North Kashmir Kupwara and Bandipora districts were discussed at the meeting which lasted for nearly an hour. The preparedness of the security forces for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the Lok Sabha elections were also discussed in the meeting, they added. The meeting, among others, was attended by the Chief Secretary and top officials of central and state intelligence agencies and police, the sources said.
