| Political parties asked to observe Model Code of Conduct | | |

Ramban, Apr10 –The Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramban to oversee the observance of Model Code of Conduct by the political parties in District Ramban during the Parliamentary Elections today convened a meeting with representatives of various political parties.
It was given out in the meeting that the non-observance of the Model Code of Conduct shall be viewed very seriously and action warranted under rules shall be taken against the erring political party.
The meeting was told that no religious place shall be used for the purpose of election propagation. Besides, the political parties should refrain from defacement of public properties and shall obtain proper permission for plying of the vehicles and use of loud speaker.
The representatives of the political parties were told not to paste posters defacing the public properties and in case of any violation the expenses incurred for removal of posters, flags, hoarding etc shall be debited from their accounts.
