| DEO Poonch reviews poll preparedness | | |

Poonch, Apr 10- District Election Officer, Poonch, Mohammad Afzal Bhat, today reviewed election arrangements at a meeting of Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates.
Besides the Election Observer, Anowrag Yadu, Additional Deputy Commissioner and all the three Assistant Returning Officers were present in the meeting.
The meeting was informed that effective communication plan, security and transport plans have been put in place to ensure free, fair and transparent polls in the district.
The DEO sensitized the Magistrates about their duties and asked them to monitor public meetings and rallies of political parties and ensure that these are held in compliance to the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). He also directed for maintaining their video graphic record.
The Magistrates were directed to ensure that MCC is observed in letter and spirit by all government employees.
