EPFO Jammu holds Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 programme

DODA, Jan 27: More than 200 representatives from employers across District Doda and Kishtwar participated in the Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 programme at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Doda. The event aimed to raise awareness and provide insights into the social security provisions under EPFO, focusing on UAN activation, filing online claims, and other key EPFO services.
The session was inaugurated by Rizwan Uddin, P.F. Commissioner and RPFC-I, Jammu, who personally addressed the grievances of workers and employers present at the event. He also visited Doda Thatthri Road, where he interacted with subscribers and promptly directed concerned authorities for the resolution of their issues. The program included detailed discussions on the UAN Activation Process, the Filing of Online Claims, and other important initiatives such as the Employment Linked Incentive Scheme (ELI).
Gupta emphasized the need for all eligible workers to be enrolled in the EPF system from the start of their employment, urging employers to ensure compliance with EPFO regulations. He also appreciated the support of various stakeholders, including Shri Parkash Thapa, Chief Education Officer, Doda, and representatives from several schools and industries, for their active participation in the initiative. These efforts were instrumental in ensuring a smooth rollout of the program.
During the session, employers and employees were briefed on the process of registering on the Shram Suvidha Portal, obtaining the PF code, and other EPFO services. Several schools and establishments, including M/s Nadeem Memorial Nursing Home and M/s Boru Construction, assured to enroll their employees in EPF and increase the coverage.
A handholding session was also conducted to guide employers in the PF provisions and modalities. The event provided a platform for stakeholders to voice their concerns, which were registered and addressed. Additionally, the Universal Account Number (UAN) activation process was demonstrated, ensuring smoother digital transactions for employees.
Shri Rizwan Uddin concluded the session by thanking the participants and special acknowledgments were given to the DC, Doda, for the success of the program. The event successfully promoted the importance of social security benefits and the need for greater participation in EPFO schemes.
