| Job Orientation Training Programme held at Kathua. | | |
Kathua. A Job Orientation Training Camp organized by ICDS Project since September, 8,concluded here today.
The valedictory function was presided over by District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Ms. Sarita Chauhan.
As manyt as 50 Anganwari Helpers of ICDS Projects Kathua and Barnoti took part in the training programme.
While Speaking on the occasion, DDC, Ms Sarita Chauhan exhorted upon the ICDS functionaries to impart knowledge of personal Hygiene, Balanced nutrition, Immunization and better sanitation to the rural women. She also enjoined upon them to monitor the nutrition and hygiene of pregnant and lactating mothers and children as to fulfill the objective of the ICDS schemes.
Various products like toys, Bags, Learning charts, Showpieces prepared from waste material by the Anganwari Helpers were also exhibited in the camp.
Smt. Ram Dulari bagged first prize while as 2nd and third positions were won by Anju Sharma and Madhu Bala respectively and were awarded prizes.
Certificates were given to all the participants.
Programme Officer, ICDS,. Kathua,S. Gurdarshan Singh explained in detail the programmes of the ICDS project, Kasthua. He said that such more camps would be organized in near future to aware the Anganwari workers/ Helpers to impart them training. |
