BIS holds Manak Conclave in Jalandhar

JALANDHAR, Jan 30: Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu & Kashmir Branch Office (JKBO), successfully organized the Manak Conclave for Stakeholder Engagement at The Maya Hotel, Jalandhar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 stakeholders, including representatives from industry associations, academia, and Standard Club students.
The conclave aimed to foster dialogue on standardization, quality control, and industrial development in Jalandhar, reinforcing BIS's commitment to promoting a culture of quality and excellence.

The event showcased vibrant cultural performances, including Manak Geet, Skit, Nukkad-Natak, and Gidda dance, presented by five Standard Club students from Jalandhar.
The conclave also recognized the contributions of industries and Standard Clubs in promoting standards awareness:
Ten industries were awarded for their support in conducting exposure visits for Standard Club students.
Twelve Standard Club mentors of Jalandhar districts who successfully conducted all three standard promotion activities were honoured for their outstanding efforts.
As a token of appreciation, felicitation and awards were presented to industry representatives and mentors by Sh. Tilak Raj, Director & Head, BIS-JKBO, recognizing their contributions towards quality and standardization.
The conclave was successfully coordinated by Sh. Ashish Kumar Dwivedi, Standard Promotion Officer, BIS-JKBO, Sh. Sanjiwan Singh Dadhwal, Key Resource Person, ensuring seamless execution of the event.
The Bureau of Indian Standards continues to drive awareness and engagement through such initiatives, strengthening the industry's role in achieving excellence in quality and standards.
