| PM's comment on Advani 'sign of frustration': BJP | | | New Delhi, April 10: The BJP on Friday dismissed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's comment on its prime ministerial candidate L K Advani as a "visible sign of frustration" and alleged that he is seeking to "make a virtue of his weakness as an orator".
"The Prime Minister's comments on L K Advani is a visible sign of frustration. He wants to be a survivor by inaction. Dr Singh became the Prime Minister by default and now he is making a virtue of his weakness as an orator," senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley told reporters.
"He is just a lucky politician. He cannot lead a campaign. He has never won an election and there is no possibility of his winning one now," he added.
"It is good that Manmohan Singh has finally admitted that the country needs a strong leader. The achievement of the Prime Minister who is known to be a great economist is that he inherited a booming economy from (A B) Vajpayee and now he is leaving the country in a debt," Jaitely alleged.
While Advani's economics talks of giving more money to families and individuals, UPA and Manmohan Singh believes in high tax and waste, he charged.
