| Over 30,000 to 35,000 pilgrims arriving Katra daily | | | Early Times Report
KATRA, APRIL 11 (INFO)-The rush of pilgrims at the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi has started picking up gradually, presently 30,000 to 35,000 pilgrims are daily reaching at the base camp Katra town for their onward journey to the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji.
Meanwhile over 15.72 lakh pilgrims from various parts of the country have so far visited at the holy cave shrine since January this year. During the corresponding period last year 13.57 lakh pilgrims had darshan. Thus an increase of over 2.14 lakh pilgrims has been registered.
Adequate arrangements have been made by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, elaborate security arrangements have been made by the police department enroute for darshan and at the base camp Katra town.
The Shrine Board has arranged meticulous accommodation for the facility of pilgrims, besides the JKTDC has also made available dormitories and rooms for stay of the pilgrims at the base camp Katra town.
