JAMMU, APRIL 11 (INFO)-General Zorawar Singh Day is being observed on April 13 at Zorawar Chowk, Bahu Plaza in the memory of General Zorawar Singh, one of the greatest General of India.
The Gen Zorawar Singh Day would be observed from 4.30 pm to 6 pm on April 13, wherein the efforts of the General in making Ladakh, Gilgit and Chitwal as parts of the J&K State would be highlighted, besides his other contributions.
According to Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Brig R S Langeh (retd), Lt Gen B S Jaswal, AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C Army Trg Comd (Col The JAK RIF and Ladakh Scouts) would be chief guest on the occasion.
Large number of retired, serving officers and civil dignitaries are expected to participate in the function.
