| Div com convenes KVMC meet | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, APRIL 11 (INFO)-Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal today convened a meeting of the monitoring committee of Kendriya Vidyalay No-1 Jammu to review the ongoing construction and renovation projects in the institution. Dr Kotwal who is the chairman of the Vidyalaya Monitoring Committee (VMC) Jammu was apprised of the status of various development works taken up by JKPCC and CPWD in the school premises. He was informed that about 90 percent work on the construction of primary school building has been completed, while work on construction and renovation of the science laboratories and administration wing is under progress. Dr Kotwal directed the concerned agencies to complete the projects in time bound manner and ensure high-quality facilities are provided to the students. He stressed on developing the sports amenities after proper consultation with the sports authority of India so that national standards are maintained for budding sportsmen He also directed the officials to ensure proper testing of water from the pumping station so that clean portable water supply in ensured to the students.
