JKNC Women Wing holds meeting in R S Pura

Jammu, Feb 10: A meeting of Women Wing workers of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) was held in village Gandli, R.S. Pura, addressed by Mrs. Bimla Luthra, former MLA and State Vice President, Women Wing JKNC, along with Mr. Vijay Lochan, Chairman SC Cell JKNC.
Mrs. Bimla Luthra emphasized the party’s commitment to gender equality and women empowerment, stating that women must play an active role in education, politics, and the economy. She reiterated that empowering women is a core principle of the National Conference’s ideology.
Mr. Vijay Lochan urged women workers to mobilize grassroots support and raise awareness about JKNC’s pro-people policies. He also called on them to actively prepare for the upcoming Panchayat and Urban Local Body elections to ensure a strong party presence in local governance. The meeting was attended by Joginder Kaur (District Vice President, Women Wing Jammu Urban YNC), S. Balvinder Singh, Bharti, Maria, and other party workers.
