Udhampur district wins 14 medals at 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championship

JAMMU, Feb 12: The 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championship 2024-25 concluded at Bhagwati Nagar Sports Council Hall, Jammu, with over 500 boys and girls from 20 districts of Jammu & Kashmir competing in the mega event.
Udhampur District made a remarkable impact, securing a total of 14 medals, including 6 Gold, 4 Silver, and 4 Bronze. The victorious athletes received a grand welcome upon their return to Udhampur.
President of the Udhampur Taekwondo Association, Rasal Singh, along with General Secretary Romal Singh and Joint Secretary Narayan Dass, congratulated the players and encouraged them to continue excelling in future championships. They also lauded the dedicated efforts of Taekwondo coaches Sidharth Sharma, Rakesh Singh, and Suresh Manhas, whose training played a vital role in the district's success.
Gold: Garima Yadav, Priyanshi Sharma, Insha Wani, Tanushree Sharma, Arun Kumar, Sarabjit Singh
Silver: Saavi Sharma, Shruti Thakur, Rajinder Kumar, Palak Sanmotra
Bronze: Divyaansh, Paraansh, Adyansh, Anurag Khajuria
The Udhampur Taekwondo Association expressed immense pride in its young athletes and aims to continue fostering excellence in the sport.
