Galgotias University honors NCC Cadets for Republic Day Parade

NEW DELHI, Feb 12: A grand welcome was held today at Galgotias University for the NCC cadets who showcased their exceptional talent in the Republic Day Parade 2025.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, praised the remarkable achievements of the cadets, stating that this moment is truly wonderful and joyous for all of us.
On this occasion, Chancellor Sunil Galgotia congratulated these outstanding cadets of the university on their noteworthy accomplishments and wished them a bright future. He further stated that the entire university prays for greater honor and recognition for these talented NCC cadets.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, emphasized that this is an incredibly proud and memorable moment for everyone. He expressed immense pride in the students and acknowledged their unwavering dedication to the nation. Dushyant Rana, NCC officer of Galgotias University, shared that cadets from the NCC unit (40th UP Battalion, Secunderabad) and the 31st UP Battalion Senior Division (SD) of Greater Noida were selected to participate in the Republic Day Parade 2025. Among them, ten NCC cadets from Galgotias University were chosen.
This achievement highlights the cadets' commitment, discipline, and excellence as they represented Galgotias University and their battalion at the national level.
The talented cadets also shared their experiences, stating that "The Nation Always Comes First." Each cadet elaborated on their experiences, which included:
Cyclothon Camp and Achievements:
Under Officer Akash Sharma completed an 800 km journey in 20 days.
During the Republic Day Camp 2025, he traveled 2,200 km and received the Air Force Chief Commendation and Central Command Commendation.
Republic Day Camp 2025 Special Contributions:
Kartavya Path March: Corporal Utkarsh Singh and Cadet Harshit Singh Tomar delivered an outstanding performance.
Cultural Program: Under Officer Varshitha Pandiri, Samiksha Sahu, and Corporal Aditya Kumar Singh participated.
Prime Minister's Rally: Samiksha Sahu, Varshitha Pandiri, and Aditya Kumar Singh gave excellent performances.
Inter-Group Competition: Under Officer Prince Kumar excelled in firing, Army Camp, and Pre-RDC 3.
Meeting with Distinguished Personalities:
The cadets had the honor of meeting the Vice President, Chiefs of the Armed Forces, the Defense Minister, the Chief Minister of Delhi, and the Prime Minister of India.
Experience in Andaman and Nicobar Islands:
Natural Beauty: Chidiya Tapu, Manipur National Park, Mudapahad Trek.
Historic Sites: Ross Island, Swaraj Island, Cellular Jail.
