Pakistan in frustration trying to derail peace in J&K: Kavinder
2/12/2025 10:49:49 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 12: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has strongly condemned the cowardly act of terrorism in which two brave Army personnel, including a Captain, lost their lives in an IED blast triggered by suspected terrorists near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Akhnoor sector on Tuesday.
Expressing profound grief over the loss of lives, the BJP stalwart asserted that such heinous acts of terrorism reflect Pakistan's growing frustration as peace and development continue to flourish in Jammu & Kashmir under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Pakistan and its proxies are desperate to create an atmosphere of fear and instability, but their nefarious designs will never succeed.
"The sacrifice of our brave soldiers will not go in vain. The security forces will give a befitting reply to those responsible for this barbaric act. Pakistan's continuous support to terrorism is a direct challenge to India's sovereignty, and it will be dealt with firmly," he stated.
The senior BJP leader emphasized that despite repeated setbacks, Pakistan-backed terrorists are trying to disrupt normalcy in J&K. However, under the Modi government, the Union Territory has witnessed a new era of peace, development, and stability. The enemies of the nation will never be allowed to succeed in their evil intentions.
Kavinder also lauded the armed forces for their relentless efforts in safeguarding the borders and ensuring national security. He reaffirmed that the BJP-led government is committed to eradicating terrorism and will continue to take stringent actions to crush the menace.
Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs, Kavinder urged the people of Jammu & Kashmir to stand united against terrorism and support the forces in their mission to eliminate militancy. He reiterated that India will never bow down to terrorism and will continue its march towards progress and prosperity.
