Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 13: On Wednesday, 12th February 2025, Impression World Pre School, Sainik Colony, Jammu, celebrated its annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and energy. Every year, the school adopts an innovative and creative theme for the event, and this year's theme, "Race at Your Own Pace," carried a powerful message about recognizing and embracing everyone's unique potential. The races were thoughtfully designed to enhance essential developmental skills, including gross motor skills, fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, bilateral coordination, and balancing.
The event was graced by chief guest Khalid Jahangir, MD JKTPO, along with Guest of Honor Rajat Vohra, Bureau Head of Zee News J&K, and Umesh Rekhi, General Secretary of J&K Karate Federation of India. They were warmly welcomed and felicitated by the Principal, Shivani Sharma.
In his address, Khalid Jahangir applauded the school's efforts in nurturing young minds and emphasized the crucial role of preschools in laying a strong foundation for children's growth and learning. Rajat Vohra also shared his appreciation for the significance of sports in a child's development.
The event witnessed active participation from students of Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG, who showcased their enthusiasm and discipline while competing in various races. Parents, too, joined in the fun with specially organized races such as "Mom and Me," "My Daddy Strongest," and the "Three-Legged Race." Their participation and encouragement added to the vibrant atmosphere of the day.
Winners among both children and parents were honored with mementos and medals, recognizing their sportsmanship and effort. The dedicated team of Impression World Pre School ensured smooth execution of the event, making it a delightful and hiccup-free experience for all.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt thank-you note by Principal Shivani Sharma, followed by the rendition of the Indian National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable and inspiring day.
