JAMMU, Feb 14: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today paid heartfelt tributes to the CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the cowardly terror attack in Pulwama on this day in 2019. Remembering their unparalleled valor, he said that the nation will forever remain indebted to their supreme sacrifice in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of India.
Speaking at the solemn event at Party Headquarters here today, Kavinder Gupta emphasized that the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers will never be forgotten, and their courage continues to inspire generations. "The martyrdom of our jawans in Pulwama strengthens our resolve to fight terrorism in all its forms. Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has given a befitting response to those who dare to challenge our unity and peace," he stated.
Kavinder Gupta also highlighted the commitment of the BJP government towards national security, asserting that decisive actions have been taken to dismantle terror networks and protect the lives of citizens. He reiterated that the entire nation stands in solidarity with the families of the martyrs, who displayed extraordinary resilience in the face of adversity.
Several BJP leaders and prominent personalities joined in paying tribute to the bravehearts, including Sanjay Baru, Vinay Gupta, Parduman Singh, Veenu Khanna, Anu Gupta, Sunil Prajapati, Lucky Puri, Ashok Naidu, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, and Kulbhushan Mahotra.
The gathering observed a moment of silence, offering prayers for the departed souls and reaffirming their commitment to upholding the values of patriotism and national integrity.
Kavinder Gupta urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to always remember the sacrifices of security forces and support the government's mission to eliminate terrorism from the region. "Our soldiers are the backbone of our nation's security, and it is our duty to honor their bravery by working for a strong and united India," he concluded.
