| Reasi Police facilitates police community partnership group meeting | | |

Reasi, Feb 15: Continuing its unwavering efforts to bridge the gap between the police and the public, Reasi Police facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Dak Bungalow, Reasi.
The meeting was held under the directions of SSP Paramvir singh and chaired by Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi, Sh Vishal Singh Jamwal, along with SHO P/S Reasi, Insp. Ranjeet Singh Rao. It was attended by Ward Councilors, Ward members, prominent and respectable citizens of the concerned area.
During the meeting, participants highlighted various issues of public importance. The chairing officer assured them that their genuine grievances pertaining to police matters would be resolved on priority, while issues related to civil administration would be taken up with the concerned departments for early redressal. The participants were urged to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements that attempt to disrupt the peaceful environment.
The attendees assured their full cooperation to the police in tackling social evils and appreciated the efforts of Reasi Police in facilitating community interaction meets, allowing participants to express their opinions freely.
All participants were also briefed about Drug abuse, New Criminal Laws, Cybercrime, traffic rules. They assured their full cooperation in eradicating social evils from the area. The contact numbers of Dy.SP HQ Reasi and SHO Reasi were also shared with the participants.
The public appreciated the efforts of Reasi Police in maintaining law and order and in curbing the menace of drug abuse in the district. |
