JKAACL & GCW Parade host Musical Tribute to Sardar Patel

JAMMU, Feb 15: The Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL), in collaboration with GCW Parade, organized a musical program to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
Harvinder Kour, Secretary JKAACL, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, with Sanjeev Rana, Additional Secretary JKAACL, and Dr. Javaid Rahi attending as Guests of Honour. In her address, Harvinder Kour emphasized Sardar Patel's role in India's unification and urged students to embrace his ideals of unity and dedication.
The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Ritu Mangotra, Vice Principal, GCW Parade, followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony and a pledge-taking session honoring the Constitution of India.
Renowned J&K artist Suraj Singh captivated the audience with soulful patriotic songs, accompanied by Amit Anand on Tabla and Chandan Jasu on Keyboard.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the dignitaries, performers, and participants for their contributions to the event's success.
