JAMMU, Feb 15: Students of Government Degree College (GDC) R.S. Pura actively participated in a marathon organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (Drug-Free India Campaign). The event aimed to raise awareness about substance abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, Principal of GDC R.S. Pura, and coordination of Prof. Neelam Kumari and Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, students took part enthusiastically, showcasing their commitment to the cause. The marathon, which saw participation from students, educators, and community members, served as a strong platform to spread awareness about drug abuse prevention and highlight the importance of physical and mental well-being.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour commended the students for their proactive role in supporting the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
