Jammu, Apr 12: On the eve of ‘Baisakhi’ children’s painting competitions in collaboration with Kalaniketan were organized with Kalaniketan was organized by J&K Five Arts Society (JAKFAS) at children’s park, canal road here today. About 200 children took part in the competition, belonging to various schools. Among others who attended the meeting were renowned social activists Ms Raj Bharti who was the chief guest on the occasion blessed the children and asked them to work hard in promoting fine arts. She along with president JAKFAS Darshan Singh Surjeet distributed prizes among the winners. The winners were Jasneet -SNS Vidya Mandir, Kajal -DBN Amarvilla, Pinki -SNS Vidya Mandir, Varsha -SNS Vidya Mandir, Sahil -SNS Vidya Mandir, Muskaan -J.K.P.S Panjtirthi, Charanpreet -G.N.P.S, Neha -G.N.P.S, Chanda -SNS Vidya Mandir, Mehak -DBN Vidya Mandir, Kompal -St. Peters School.
