| Lok Sabha Elections 2009 | | JSM-P supports DPP candidate | | Early Times report Jammu, Apr 12: To get rid of Kashmiri domination and the discrimination being met with the Jammu region for the last over 60 years, the Jammu states Morcha progressive (JSM-P) has decided to support Duggar Pradesh Party (DPP) candidates, Udhay Chand, contesting for Jammu-Poonch parliamentary seat. Addresssing media persons here today president of JSM-P, prof Virander Gupta said, the decision is taken in view of the policies of DPP which too are fed up with Kashmir politicians, who always played with the sentiment of the people of Jammu province of the people of Jammu province for their own political vested interest. He said extended support to Uday Chand is that only Jammu based political leadership can meet the aspirants of the region. He said Udey Chand has an unblemished image and has dedicated himself for the cause of the people of Jammu province and has led the struggle towards this end since long years and as such feels that he is well familiar with the problems of the people of Jammu province and his victory in the elections shall start a new era in the J&K politics. The press conference was attended by Udey Chand, President and Candidate Dugger Pradesh Party, Mohan Singh, Abdul Rauf Ganai, H.B. Khajuria, Capt. Anil Gour, Digvijay Singh, Devinder Singh Jamwal, Balwinder Singh, Chandra Uday Sharma, Swran Sharma-President Women Wing.
