APS Damana attends open day visitor programme

JAMMU, Feb 17: 31 students of Army Public School Damana along with the two educators named Mr. Sourab Gupta HOD Science & Ms. Geeta Gupta TGT Science enthusiastically attended an open day visitor programme called PRAGYAAN 2025 hosted by IIT Jammu showcasing an Innovative and esteemed exhibitions celebrating a fiesta of innovation and creativity on 16 February 25. The young prodigies got mesmerized with a cosmic view of the planetarium exhubrating the significance of the Blackhole. Further the students felt delighted to witness the open exhibition of the Scientific Models including the Drones and Robotics.The students also acknowledged the project on the Transportation System showcasing their understanding of modern mobility solutions and futuristic advancements in transport technology. With interactive models and detailed explanations, the young minds effectively demonstrated how evolving transportation networks can address contemporary challenges, such as traffic congestion, environmental sustainability, and urban planning. The exhibits highlighted the integration of smart technologies, eco-friendly vehicles, and efficient infrastructure, leaving the visitors impressed with their research and execution.
Pragyaan encouraged the students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) via Technology demonstrations showcasing the Live demonstrations of AI, robotics, AR/VR, and UAVs.It was also comprised of Science and innovation exhibition wherein the innovative projects were showcased exhibiting a cosmos of new discoveries of the scientific world. The programme was indeed a pedantic collaboration between educators and IIT Jammu. Further, the students got mesmerized with the view of the Art zones comprising of Painting, Elocution, and creative showcases. The students felt grateful for the STEM career guidance helping them to explore the future career paths.The event propelled scientific temperament among the young minds and was designed to spark their curiosity in STEAM.
