GCE Canal Road celebrates Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th Birth Anniversary

JAMMU, Feb 18: Government College of Education, Canal Road, paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary by organizing a Role-Playing Competition on Patriotic Heroes. The event aimed to inspire students to embrace the values of India's freedom fighters.
The celebration was graced by Principal Dr. Jyoti Parihar, who emphasized Patel's contributions to India's unity and urged students to follow the path of such great leaders. The event was organized under the guidance of NSS Programme Officers Prof. Sarita Dogra and Dr. Shubhra Jamwal, with support from Prof. Sunanda Rani and Prof. Kiran Thapa.
Participants brought history to life by enacting various patriotic heroes, showcasing their courage and sacrifice. The competition was judged by Prof. Roopa Kumari and Dr. Sonam Gandotra, who praised the participants for their exceptional performances.

Second Place: Manpreet Singh
Third Place: Damini
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Saiyushi (B.Ed Sem II), expressing gratitude to the organizers, judges, and participants. The celebration successfully instilled patriotism among students, making it a fitting tribute to the Iron Man of India.
