While addressing public meetings at these places, Lila Karan Sharma said that the leaders of other parties who have neither any election agenda nor any achievement to show to the public are leaving no stone unturned to malign his image as they are frustrated by his growing popularity. These leaders do not have any thing to tell the voters and are finding it difficult to face them. He said that these leaders, be they of Congress, NC or PDP, are now confining their electioneering to the mudslinging and only denouncing him. Large scale unemployment, poverty, lack of civic facilities only indicates the non-performance and non-achievement of the Congress-led UPA government and state government. He added that the opposition candidates should have fought the elections on principle ideologies and their achievement and not by hurling personal invectives. He assured that he shall make every effort and endevour to ensure dignity, prosperity and equality to Jammu region and to all Jammuites. Party’s local MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address reminded the public that Lila Karan Sharma hails from this constituency from a very humble village of Suketar and his success would do great proud to the entire constituency. He said that it was the duty of every voter of this constituency to vote for BJP candidate who would leave no stone unturned to work for this constituency which is also his home. BJP State Secretary Yudhvir Sethi also addressed these meeting.
