| Ravinder appeals voters to vote for Congress | | | Early Times report Jammu, Apr 12- PCC General Secretary and Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma who is on hectic campaigning of Congress party addressed series of meetings at Channi-Mela, Taligala, Lower Hathal, Morchola, Seri-Mangal Devi, Kalal, Thichka and Banpuri in Sunderbani area of Nowshera assembly segment. Speaking at these meetings Sharma appealed to the voters to exercise their franchise in favor of Congress candidate and alliance partner NC and bring back UPA government at the centre in order to establish peace and carry forward the process of development in the state. He said that Congress led UPA government at the centre had taken special care for Jammu & Kashmir state and provided liberal funds and all sorts of help to the state government to establish peace, progress and prosperity in the last five years. Not only this, at the time of natural disaster like earth quack, snow storm etc, the Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh were the first to reach to the affected people and provided all sorts of help to them. PCC Spokesperson said that it is the good time for the people of the state to pay back the Congress party by exercising their franchise in favor of coalition candidates i.e Congress and National Conference in order to bring back the Congress led UPA government at the centre which will go a long way for establishing peace, progress and prosperity in the state. He said that National Conference and Congress have entered into accord for the benefit and welfare of the people and it would be in larger interest of the state. Both the parties have entered to seat sharing and would tirelessly work together for the success of coalition candidates on all six seats in order to ensure the defeat of communal and negative forces. Referring to the contribution of Madan Lal Sharma, Ravinder Sharma reminded the people that Madan Lal Sharma has been fighting for the cause of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly his constituency. In this regard he quoted construction of second bridge at river Chenab at Akhnoor which was the long pending demand of the people of Rajouri and Poonch districts.
