GDC Kathua felicitates students for outstanding cultural performances

JAMMU, Feb 24: Today on 24th of February 2025, the worthy principal of the college Prof. Seema Mir facilitated the students who represented the college at the 66th Raising day of 126 Infantry Battalion (TA) JAK RIF in Madhopur. The worthy Principal Prof. Seema Mir congratulated the students on their outstanding performance, saying, "We are proud of our students' achievements, which demonstrate their dedication, discipline, and passion.
This recognition is a testament to the college's commitment to nurturing talented individuals." This achievement underscores strong emphasis on holistic education, combining academic excellence with extracurricular pursuits.
On this occasion, students performed one group song and two group dances. Group song was performed by Bharat Attri, Manu Sharma, Rajan Bhagat, Umesh Samyal, Shivika Rajput, Ankush Majotra, Gunjan Gupta and Lakshay Janotra while Dogri and Punjabi Folk dance was performed by Shivika Rajput, Rekha Kumari, Muska Bhat, Diksha Devi, Riya Thakur, Danisha Devi, Shakshi Devi, Gurleen Kour, Unnati Sharma, Sneha Sharma, Sania Basotra and Manu Slathia. The felicitated students received certificates of appreciation, gifts and cash prize of Rs. 12,000 from Col Manoj Sharma, Commanding Officer, 126 Infantry Battalion (TA) JAK RIF.
The performances were held under the guidance of the worthy Principal and under the supervision of Prof. Yash Paul, HOD Urdu, Dr. Pinkey, CTO Girls NCC Wing, Lt. (Dr.) Daya Ram and Lecturer Deepshikha of Computer Sciences.
